How to generate a fix artifact (llms.txt, schema, comparison draft)
Some recommendations come with a ready-to-use file attached — here's what's generated and what you still have to publish yourself.
Certain fix-tracker recommendations include a "generate" action that produces an actual, copy-ready artifact for your specific brand — an llms.txt file, JSON-LD schema, or a draft comparison/"what is X" page — instead of just telling you what to go build yourself.
What gets generated
The artifact is built from your real scan data: your brand name, category, and the specific gap the recommendation addresses. It's a draft you copy, adapt, and publish on your own site — not something PingMyBrand hosts or publishes for you.
The free generation
Free and Solo accounts get one fix-artifact generation per report at no charge, so you can see exactly what one looks like before deciding whether the deeper fix workflow is worth upgrading for. Once that's used, the report is honest about it — it won't re-promise a free generation you've already spent.
What you still have to do
Generating the file is not the same as it taking effect. You still have to publish it — add the llms.txt to your domain root, paste the schema into your page's head, publish the comparison draft — and then re-scan to confirm it actually moved anything.
Open a report from your dashboard to try generating a fix, or run a free scan first to get one.
