Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

When you first visit PingMyBrand, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline optional cookies. This page explains exactly what that choice controls — and, honestly, what it doesn't (strictly necessary cookies keep working either way, same as every GDPR-compliant SaaS cookie banner).

Essential cookies (always on — required for the product to function)

  • Session / authentication — keeps you signed in to your account.
  • pmb_src — first-touch acquisition-channel attribution, used for billing-adjacent funnel accounting (which channel a paying customer came from). Strictly necessary in the same sense every SaaS treats its own attribution cookie as necessary to operate the business, not third-party ad tracking.
  • pmb_consent — remembers your own cookie-banner choice for 1 year, so we don't ask you again every visit.

Non-essential cookies (only after you Accept)

Today there is exactly one: real-user performance analytics (page-load timing) used to catch slow pages. It is off by default and only starts collecting after you click Accept. We do not run third-party ad-tracking or cross-site retargeting cookies.

Your choice

Decline keeps the product fully usable — nothing in the app is gated behind accepting analytics. To change your mind, clear the pmb_consent cookie in your browser and reload; the banner will ask again.
