The PingMyBrand quarterly report · Q3 2026

The State of AI Search: what our own scan corpus shows.

Every scan run through PingMyBrand — free or paid, curated study brand or a visitor checking their own domain — adds a real data point to this corpus. Each quarter we compute a fresh set of original stats straight from it: which AI engine cites brands most, how invisible the average brand really is, and who moved most since their last scan. Every number below is linkable and quotable, and traces back to a real, stored scan — never a placeholder.

Methodology: every stat above is computed at request time from the same live scan pipeline that powers every free report on this site — no editorializing, no hand-tuning, no placeholder numbers. Simulated (no live engine key) scan snapshots are excluded from every average. Stats that need more history than the corpus currently has (e.g. movers, a citation gap between two engines) say so explicitly instead of showing a guessed number.
